This half of the year some of our Y5&6 students were trialled for selection to represent our school in Rippa Rugby, Netball, Hockey and Rugby League at the Mangere, Otahuhu Sports Association tournaments. Here are our results for the year so far:

RIPPA RUGBY:

Y5&6 Boys - placed 5th - Most valuable player: Carter (R28)

Y5&6 Girls - placed 5th - Most valuable player: Prayzes (R28)

NETBALL

Y5&6 Mixed Boys - placed 2nd - Most valuable player: Radisson (R22)

Y6 Girls - placed 3rd - Most valuable player: Olive (R28)

Y5 Girls - placed 10th - Most valuable player: Starr (R28)

HOCKEY: 

Y5&6 Mixed Boys - placed 3rd - Most valuable player: Terepai (R27)

Y5&6 Mixed Girls - placed 5th - Most valuable player: Marianna (R3)

RUGBY LEAGUE:

Open Boys - placed 1st - qualified for the Counties Manukau Champ of Champs tournament - Most valuable player: Carter (R28)

Open Girls - placed 3rd - most valuable player - Henna (R28)

Yesterday the Open Boys Rugby League team travelled to Opaheke Reserve Park, Papakura on a cold but sunny and fine day and competed in the Counties Manukau Champ of Champs tournament with some nerves and excitement.  Congratulations to our boys who played with heart. Your hard work paid off - placing 3rd overall. Most valuable players for the tournament went to Kevin (R22) and Sione (R3).

In Term 3 we have soccer, rugby and basketball. Make sure you have the school app on your phone to keep up to date with our Sports events.
